This is "Race of Shades" – a declaration of unity and infinity. I've taken six strokes of the most fundamental color, brown, and stretched it from shadow to light. Each layer is a unique path, a separate destiny, a singular tone.
The tiny horses and riders—they represent our striving, our ceaseless push forward, moving through our own personal 'shades.'
Look closely at Number 1, dominating the darkest track. He leads on his proud white steed, yet his speed is merely an illusion, a trick of contrast. He cannot truly be first if Number 6, on the lightest, creamy track, doesn't even exist.
This race isn't about the finish line. It’s about all of them—from the deepest to the brightest—galloping together, side-by-side, on a single palette. They are a unified, continuous whole.
So, the question lingers: "Will Number 1 truly be first?"
I offer only this silence in reply, allowing the viewer to grasp the truth: Number 1 is only as 'first' as the integrity of the entire spectrum permits.
