At some point in life, we realize that holding on to the past only keeps us from moving forward. We have to let go of the memories and thoughts that no longer serve us, making space for something lighter. For peace. For joy. For a smile.
The past will always be a part of our story, but it doesn’t have to define our present. Sometimes, the most beautiful thing we can do is let go, look around, and simply smile at where we are now.
